Direct replacement for the stock hood. Scoop is fully functional for added cooling. This hood will bolt up to the stock hinges and utilize the stock tie down mounts. It will come in a black gel coat as shown to run as is or prep for paint. The hood weighs 22 lbs (vs stock steel of 47 lbs) and has been tested to 70 mph with no issues. That being said, they are regarded as "offroad use only". An optional hardware mounting kit is offered to aid in installation. It's not necessary for the do it yourselfer but makes the install cleaner and easier. The kit comes with all stainless hardware needed for mounting and two different thickness rubber snubbers. The rubber snubbers are used for the hood to draw down on and aid in hood alignment and hood mount tensioning. Shipping is Flat Rate $150 and will be added in check out. There is a 3 day lead time for crating/shipping on fiberglass orders and 7 day lead time on carbon fiber orders. |
